     Head Coach Lucius Jones, and the Lady Gems look to set it off this weekend in the home opener vs. Detroit. The Gems will be led by 2010 Player of the Year Niki McCoy, Bowling Green University Alum. McCoy is supported by aspiring pros 6′ 0″ (F) Catherine Cain from Ohio U. and 6’1″ (F/G) Simone Jelks out of USC. Lets not forget about our Local Legends; Lorrer Poindexter running the point, 6’6″ Tina Huff (Team Captain) holding it down in the middle, (The No FLY Zone) for Black Hawks fans. Ebony Pegues, Shaq Anderson, Tonya Lee and Sherrie  Griffin round out the Columbus connection.
